For the yearly cost of a reseller account I can set up my friends with the ability to ost host their sites. Not only does this help them along but also puts out my name as well. Of course I set that in the footer. Reseller account are as cheap as regular hosting services if a good hosting service is found.
If you are also interested in setting up multiple domains then the reseller account has additional benefits. I do have a reseller account as can set a whole slew of sites cheaper than if I hosted one individually. Of course the cost of each domain registrant is an incurred cost the host for the additional site is effectively free.
