I’m messing with the IE Developer Tools and wanted to disabled Javascript on the page. The option is greyed out. Any idea why?

I found this problem the other day, after being asked to check how a site operated if Javascript was turned off. I found the option I needed in the IE Developer Tools but it was greyed out and I couldn’t change it.

I went experimenting, what I discovered was that this option is only available if the current site is in a Trusted Zone. Adding the site as a Trusted Site solved the issue. It can be set the options in Internet Options

Tools>Internet Options>Security>Tusted Sites, Sites button, Add.

Refresh the page and the setting will kick in.
