I’ve heard that Facebook have just launched the ability for webmasters to add a “Like” button to their website. How can I add this to my webpage?

Facebook has jut launched a set of tools that webmasters can use on their websites and the Like button is one of these. Implementing this on a webpage is actually really simple thanks to the a wizard they supply. The wizard will generate a line of HTML which essentially embeds an iFrame into your website. Here’s what you need to do.

First of all, head down to the Like button page where you’ll see this wizard:

Filling in the wizard is quite simple.Specify the web page URL, the various display options and click on Get Code. A popup window will appear which will show you the iFrame code that you need to generate the correct iFrame.

The code will work on any website you may have; if could be a joke shop or a site dedicated to reviewing acne products. It could even be a website showing you how to do things, just like this one. Which reminds me. I should probably add it to this site …
