In the past I have been able to resize my Window Taskbar. Now I cannot seem to grab the top edge in order to make it smaller. It’s huge at the moment and rather annoying. Any idea why this is the case?

It sounds like you may have inadvertently “locked” the Taskbar. With this option enabled, nothing about the Taskbar can be altered by the user. Fortunately, it’s very easy to unlock: right-click any blank part of the Taskbar and click to remove the tick from the Lock the Taskbar option.

There you go, no need to get any diet pills for your Taskbar; it’s just a matter of knowing where you have to configure it.
