How do I disable the annoying SmartScreen Filter?

Whenever I click on a link in MSN Messenger I get sent to a really annoying SmartScreen message asking if I’m sure I want to visit the site. Of course I’m sure, I wouldn’t have clicked the link if I weren’t! How do I stop my computer doing that?

Ah, SmartScreen; one of those innovations that assumes only idiots use computers. I must admit, it’s one of my pet hates too, right after shopping for bathroom lighting fixtures. And you know what’s even worse: YOU CAN’T TURN IT OFF!

That’s right, the research I’ve done indicates there’s no way to disable this annoyance. The closest I’ve found is a Greasemonkey script that can push you through the screen with the minimal of effort: Here it is: Remove SmartScreen for Live Messenger
