How do I embed Google Calendar into my blog?

I came across a site the other day that had a Google Calendar embedded in the page. How do I do that?

If you want to include a Google calendar on your website there are several ways to customise it to make best use of potentially small spaces.

Log on to Google Calendar and move the cursor over the entry for your calendar on the left. Click on the down arrow that appears and then Calendar Settings. Click on the Customise link in the Embed section.

The page that appears can be used to set which parts of the calendar are displayed and how big the calendar will be. The HTML code in the big box at the top will update as you make changes.

Finally, copy and paste this into your website to display the calendar. It’s quite easy once you know how, regalrdless whether this is on a POS system or on a blog. Of course, there’s an even easier way to do it if you’re running WordPress. Just install the Google Calendar widget, configure it, and off you go!
