How do I Install the ‘NoDo Update’ On my WP7 phone?
I’ve heard there’s an update for my Windows Phone 7 but it hasn’t reached me yet. Is there a way I can install it manually?
What can I do with all my old computers?
I have a collection of old machines that I used to be quite proud of, including an Amiga, a Commodore C64, a Vic20, even an old ZX81. I’m not really doing anything with them now and space in my London flat is getting tight; should I throw them out or will they be valuable one day?
How can I speed up typing on my Xbox 360?
I’m a big fan of my XBox 360, and I’m always find new stuff to play with. I have recently come across the fact that I can access Twitter from my Xbox, but as you can imagine, typing with the controller is pretty tedious. Is there any way I can speed that up?
How can I improve the performance of my network?
I’ve just inherited a network that seems to have been growing organically for the last few years. It started with one network hub and now has a couple more daisy-chained into it. As you can imagine, it’s now running like a dog, especially when someone tries copying large files from one machine to another. We don’t really have much budget, what’s the best way to fix it?
Can I control a computer with my mind?
Ok, this started as a conversation in the pub, but is it possible to control a computer with your mind? That would be pretty cool, but is it just science fiction or is there any truth behind it?
Why won’t my computer see my new SD card?
I bought a 16GB card for my camera and it works great. However, when I stick it in my card reader it’s as if it isn’t there. The reader works fine with my old 1Gb card. Any idea why?
What’s the best way to print to a remote printer?
I tend to run around the house with my laptop, but our printer is attached to the main computer which is sitting up in the attic. I don’t tend to print much so that’s fine, but when I do I have to run up the stairs to make sure the printer is working fine and to collect my printer. I’ve considered running a cable down from my computer, but there has to be a simpler way right?
